SyncBit Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

SyncBit is a bridge. Your health data travels from Fitbit directly into Apple Health on your device. We never see it, never store it, and have no servers that could.

What we access

With your permission, SyncBit reads your Fitbit data (activity, sleep, body, nutrition and vitals) through Fitbit's official API, and writes it into Apple Health. Login happens on Fitbit's own page; your Fitbit password never touches SyncBit.

Where your data lives

Your Fitbit login tokens are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device. Synced health data lives in Apple Health, under Apple's protections. SyncBit keeps no copy of your health data anywhere else.

What we collect

We collect anonymous usage analytics (via Google Firebase) such as which screens are used and whether syncs succeed, and purchase events (via RevenueCat and Apple) to operate subscriptions. None of this includes your health measurements, your name, or your Fitbit credentials.

What we never do

We never sell your data. We never share your health data with anyone, because we never have it. There are no ads and no third-party marketing SDKs.

Apple Health

Data written to Apple Health is governed by Apple's privacy protections. You can revoke SyncBit's Health access at any time in Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices.

Your controls

Disconnect Fitbit at any time from Settings inside the app; this deletes your login tokens from the device. Deleting the app removes everything SyncBit stored. Your synced data remains safely in Apple Health.
